

Captain Rudy, a resident of Tallahassee, Florida, was born in Syracuse, New York, to Jill Anne (Rogers) Rudy, and he was son to Scott Rudy. He moved to Tallahassee, Florida, at the age of 10.
He was a loving husband and father to Callie and their 2 sons, Grayson and Hayden.
Brenden and his family attended Wildwood Church. He enjoyed duck hunting, gator hunting, fishing, spear fishing, diving and spending time with his family. Brenden was hired by the Tallahassee Fire Department in January of 2009. He promoted to Fire Engineer in November 2013 and to Fire Lieutenant in October 2017 where he was assigned to Engine 4, B Shift. He then later transitioned into the role as Fire Med 1 (Shift Medical Supervisor). Brenden was recently promoted to Captain. He also served on the Florida Task Force 7 USAR Team as a Rescue Specialist and Safety Officer. He received an A.S. degree in Fire Science from Keiser University in 2021.
He is survived by his wife, Callie Joyce Rudy, of 8 years; his sons Grayson Eli Rudy (6) and Hayden Michael Rudy (2); mother, Jill Anne Rudy; father, Scott Rudy; and his sister, Elysia Nicole Mock, who will miss him dearly.
Visitation will be at Wildwood Church, Tallahassee, from 4:00pm until 8:00pm, Wednesday, September 14, 2022. Funeral Services will be at Wildwood Church, Tallahassee at 11:00am, Thursday, September 15, 2022.
In lieu of flowers the Rudy Family has requested contributions to be made to the Florida Fish & Wildlife Conservation Commission www.myfwc.com on behalf of Brenden Michael Rudy.
