Brian-Joseph Kunkel

Brian is survived by his devoted wife, Staci Sortore Kunkel; his children, Scott Griffith-Kunkel (Amy), Brian-Joseph Kunkel, Jr., and Matthew Kunkel; and his siblings, Edward Kunkel and Roberta Kunkel. He is also remembered with love by many extended family members and friends whose lives he touched deeply.

Brian was preceded in death by his father, Edward Kunkel; his mother, Roberta Hausser Kunkel; and his sister, Donna Kunkel-Driest. His passing reunites him with his parents and sister, whose memory and love he carried with him throughout his life.

A hardworking and dedicated provider, Brian’s commitment to his family was evident in everything he did. Whether through his career or the countless small acts of care and sacrifice, he always put the needs of those he loved first. Brian’s strong work ethic, kindness, and sense of humor left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He will be deeply missed but forever remembered for the love he gave and the legacy he leaves behind.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held May 4, 2025 at 1pm at Generations Church, 3080 W Tennessee Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32304.
