Claire Elizabeth Kelly

On Monday night, Claire finished her journey here on earth and is now running around in heaven, jumping into her Grandma Solomon’s lap, trying to wiggle away from Grandpa Solomon’s tickles and meeting her Grandma and Grandpa Kelly for the very first time.

We have lost our angel on earth Claire Elizabeth Kelly. A true miracle from the time she was diagnosed before birth as incompatible with life, she lived 20 years with full Trisomy 18. She has touched so many lives in her short, sweet life. While we are mourning her loss, we are comforted that she will no longer be limited by her earthly maladies. She was pure joy. Our hearts are broken, and our sadness is beyond words.

We feel so lucky and blessed we were chosen to be her parents.

Claire was born in Tallahassee, Florida and is preceded by her grandparents, Fred and Joyce Kelly, John and Joyce Solomon. She is survived by her parents, Tim and Debbie Kelly; her brother, Johnathan Kelly (Hallie); and her sister, Kathleen Kelly.

A funeral mass will be held Saturday, September 30, 2023 at 2:30pm EST at Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More, 900 W Tennessee Street, Tallahassee, Florida 32304 with Fr. Tim Holdea presiding.
