

David L. Franer, 68, passed away Wednesday, September 26, 2012, of heart failure.
David was born January 16, 1944, in Cape May, N.J.
He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Janie (Merritt) Brannon-Franer. Also, by his mother, Elizabeth Franer; sisters, Judy McGuire (Russ) and Susie Hopkins; brother, Joe Franer (Tanya); mother-in-law, Onyx Merritt; brothers-in-law, Lou Merritt (Jane) and Don Merritt (Tommie Ann); sister-in-law, Betty Brazelton; and nieces/nephews, Stacy, Shawn, Joey and Lauren.
David was a consummate salesman, representing a variety of products and services throughout his career, but his first love was country music. He owned a music production company and produced several albums of country music by a variety of artists, several of which continue to be played around the U.S. and in Europe.
He was preceded in death by his father, William Franer, and brothers-in-law Mike Hopkins and Douglas Brazelton
Visitation will be Sunday, September 30, from 4 to 6 p.m. at Culley's Funeral Home on Riggins Road, and the funeral service will be Monday, October 1, at 3:00 p.m. at Lakeview Baptist Church.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, Florida.
