

He went to Syracuse University, majored in accounting, and his first job was with Marine Midland in Syracuse, NY. He had a long and distinguished career in Commercial Finance, culminating in the role of Executive Senior VP at Bank of Boston. He was a founding member of the Camillus Elks, Camillus NY, and recently received the honor of a lifetime member.
Dennis retired in 1997. He spent many wonderful years traveling, boating, and RV'ing. He loved working with his hands and could fix anything and always had a project or would find one. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather and uncle.
Dennis is survived by his wife Rosemary and children Valerie (David) Draper, David (Elizabeth) Kemper; grandchildren, Matthew Draper, Kevin (Jocelyn) Draper, Annie Draper, Maya Kemper, and Olivia Kemper, and great grandchildren, Adeline Draper, Cooper Draper, and several nieces and nephews.
His guiding principle was a "positive attitude", which he instilled in those around him.
The funeral service/celebration of life will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church, 4665 Thomasville Rd, Tallahassee, FL 32309, on Saturday Feb 14, 2026 at 1:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, the family wishes that donations be made to the Good Shepherd Catholic Church Building Fund.
