Devin, I love you son.
You are a jewel in my eye, you left us to early but you are in good hands with the lord. Take care son you will always be in our thoughts.

A parent is supposed to leave this life before the child. The good lord chose otherwise.

I met Devin at work. He had the most positive attitude.  I enjoyed his company, we shared a crazy sense of humor.  He will be missed.

We have only known Devin for a short time, and we are sorry to say that he has no idea how he has impacted our lives. We knew him through his time at Morningside. He was such a joy to be around, always smiling....no matter the chaos that was surrounding us each Wednesday night. As is often the case, as people come into our lives we often times think that there is always tomorrow. We are sorry that we never took the time to get to know him on a more personal level. While we are thankful that he knew Jesus, we mourn with the family during this time of loss. We are so thankful for our short time with you Devin. We will continue to lift your family up in our daily prayers......Till we meet again.

Devin, I have countless memories of all of us running around the farm together as kids.  You would always hang back from the rest of the boys so I wouldn’t have to be the last to catch up to the group. And that’s the kind of person you were, thoughtful and kind hearted. I still remember how your eyes would light up when you smiled and your infectious laugh. Your memory will forever live in my heart and know we miss you dearly. Sending love to your mom, dad, Shaun, and Brittany as they navigate the days ahead without you. Praying for comfort and peace. And Devin when we meet again in Heaven, I hope they have a N64...because we have some Mario Kart to play! ❤️

Devin was such a pleasure to work with at HomeGoods. We had a couple great conversations about our love for theme parks and roller coasters. We shared with each other some of our life goals and dreams and it’s so tragic that life was cut too short for him to reach them. On one of my last days at the store, he told me he was bummed that I was leaving and told me I would be missed greatly there, which really warmed my heart. I’m glad  I was able to say a proper farewell last week (I moved) and had the chance to tell him he was a good worker and had to (jokingly) pick up the slack in my absence. I’m very sorry for your loss and I’m sending prayers to the Pittman family.

Devin, Rob and Brittany were among the first friends Chris and I made when we moved to Tallahassee and started attending Morningside. All three of them are truly impressive people, with kind servants’ hearts, fun personalities and the best attitudes (and there’s also the fact that they all three look ready to star in a sitcom!). We will miss Devin’s relentlessly cheerful spirit, plus his quick wit and jokes that could make us snort our Wednesday night dinner right out of our noses! We know he’s up in heaven making the angels double over in laughter. We’re praying for Brittany, Rob and his parents as they go through the pain of missing him.

You will b e missed. Devin was such a happy go lucky and fun to work with the short time at home goods. He reminded me of my grandson and I enjoyed working with him. To his family my love and prayers. You had a wonderful, caring, and respectful son, it was an honor to work with him.

I am one of  Devin’s managers and even though I have not known him very long  he has left a lasting impression. He was a very hard worker and he always had a pleasant and happy attitude!!! He was a ray of sunshine every morning that he worked.  We love  Devin and all of us at  Homegoods will miss him greatly. Praying for his entire family.

My husband Jim and I recently joined Morningside Baptist where we met Devin, Shaun and Brittany.. every Wednesday evening we sat with each other to eat then go on to our various different activities. We looked forward to seeing each of them every week but Devin made a gigantic impression on both of us.  With his big friendly heart and infectious smile, we loved him even for the short time we knew him. I'm having trouble grasping that I won't see your shining smile that lit up the room as you came in. Just last week we said "see you next week". We will surely miss you. You have impacted our lives forever. Our deepest sympathy to his family.

Devin I cant believe you’re no longer here. I miss you and it hurts so much. We still have countless amounts of brotherly stuff to do. I keep thinking I’m going to see you again and let you know everything that has been going on but I won’t have that ability to ever again.  I always had an idea but never realized fully how much I love you and what you mean to me until after I no longer have you.
