Donald “Chip” Earl Hines Jr., 54, of Crawfordville, passed away unexpectedly on January 15, 2026. Born on October 9, 1971, in Tallahassee, FL, he was the son of Shirley Beane Hines and Donald Earl Hines Sr.
Chip worked in construction, using his hands and tools to build homes and businesses with care. He found peace in the simple joys—casting a line on a quiet fishing trip, the loyal companionship of a good dog, and the laughter and comfort of family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters, Amber and Heaveny; his parents; his sister, Donna; many cousins, including his best friend, Brian; as well as his niece and nephews. He is preceded in death by many beloved family members and the love of his life, Gypsy.
