Dot was born in LaGrange, GA on May 4, 1937, where she attended high school at LaGrange High. Upon marriage, Dot relocated to Panama City, FL, where she started her family. In 1982, Dot followed her son to Tallahassee, FL where she remained the rest of her life.
Dot loved the outdoors, especially being on the water. She loved spending time with her family and planning vacations and gatherings with them.
She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Irma; daughter, Kim; sisters: Gwenette and Linda; and loving husband of 26 years, Tom.
She is survived by her son, Jack “Chip” (Traci); brother, Russell (Sandra); sisters: Marie, Delene, Diane (Mick), Charlotte (Steve); grandchildren: Beth (Tien), Jack (Lauren), Brooklyn (Matthew), Cameron; great-grandchildren: Maddox, Crews, and Theo.
A gathering of family and friends will be held at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home Timberlane Road Chapel on Friday, July 29th from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 30th at 10:00am at Culley’s MeadowWood Timberlane Road Chapel. Interment will follow at Tallahassee Memory Gardens.
