She was born in Atlanta, GA to Judson and Maye Lane on November 13, 1922. She met and Married her husband, William A. Eaton. They were married for 67 years until his death.
Evelyn will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Daniel and a sister, Jeanne McLean. Survivors include her sons; Lane Eaton (Theda) and Michael Eaton, her daughter, Jeannie D’Haeseleer (Walter), all of Tallahassee. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Chris Eaton (Lisa), Steve Eaton (Mandy), Brian D’Haeseleer and Kendahl Eaton and great grandchildren, Jocelyn and Lindsay Eaton.
In keeping with Evelyn’s wishes a private service will be held. In lieu of flowers please give memorial donations in Evelyn’s memory to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Blvd. Tallahassee, FL 32308.
