

Memorial Service Mass will be held at the Co-Cathedral of St. Thomas More, 900 W. Tennessee St, Tallahassee, Florida 32304 on Friday, November 17, 2023, at 12:00 p.m. followed by interment at the Tallahassee National Cemetery, 5015 Apalachee Parkway, Tallahassee, Florida 32311 at 2:00 p.m.
Francoise Charlotte Baudoin d'Ajoux, born Paris, France 1933, was the daughter of the late Andre and Mariana Roudil d’Ajoux of Caen, France. Francoise survived the Paris Siege of WWII and later married Emile Leonce Baudoin d'Ajoux, a USA Veteran of Maurice, Louisiana. Francoise and Emile enjoyed 62 beautiful years together traveling the world and the United States in selfless service to God, country, and their community. Francoise and Emile relocated to Tallahassee in 1983. Francoise studied Art at Atelier Charpentier, La Grande Chaumiere and Arts Decoratif in Paris. She Received an AA from Laney College in CA and a BFA (Magna Cum Laude) at the University of Southwest Louisiana and an MFA (Magna Cum Laude) at Florida State University. She shared her passion for the Arts by teaching and mentoring for over 16 years at USL, FSU and TCC. She also maintained a studio in Railroad Square Tallahassee, Florida. Francoise continued to serve our community for many years as a volunteer with Big Bend Hospice and Tallahassee Memorial Hospital. She and Emile were active parishioners at St. Thomas More Catholic church for 38 years.
Francoise was preceded in death by her sisters, Anne Nicolet d’Ajoux and Catherine Roudil d’Ajoux of Paris, France. Francoise is survived by 4 sons. All of whom have proudly served our country within the finest branches of the United States Marine Corps, Army, Navy, and National Guard. Her legacy will remain strong in the lives of her sons and their wives, Ludovic & Brandy Baudoin d'Ajoux of Jacksonville, FL, Thierry & Paula Baudoin d'Ajoux of Lafayette, LA, Gabriel & Linette Baudoin d'Ajoux of Carencro, LA, and Frederick & Kelly Baudoin d'Ajoux of Tallahassee, FL; 9 grandchildren; and 5 great grandchildren. She leaves her family and friends with resplendent memories of a life fully lived.
