George Edgar Brown

George Edgar Brown, 83, Passed away on August 16, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 35 years Sarah Anne Brown (Norman), (8) children: Susan Tocco (Charles), Karen Buchanan (Craig), Phyllis Jones, Kay Buchanan, Vincent Brown, Kenneth Brown (Jen), Patrick Chames (Vicki) and Karen Blackburn. (4) Sisters: Mae Herriger (Jupiter, FL), Mary Lemmon (Auburn, NY), Phyllis Buchanan (Auburn, NY), Florence Murphy (Auburn, NY), and (1) Brother: John Brown (Rita). 14 Grandchildren, 14 Great Grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Proceeded in death by Parents: Phyllis and George Brown, Son: David Richard Brown and Daughter: Konstance E Keena (Buchanan).

George (aka: Brownie) was born in Albany, NY to Phyllis and George Brown. He served in the U.S. Army from 1948 to 1952 as a Telephone Installer Repairman in Germany. He had a long time career in retail grocery merchandising and was loved and respected by all he met. He was a long time many gallon donor of plasma and platelets to the Blood Banks in any city he lived. We lost a good man from, his words of wisdom to his corny jokes. George will be dearly missed by all who loved and knew him.
