He was born on April 26, 1953 in Miami, FL to Edna Jewell Dodson and Henry B. Knowles Sr. Henry is survived by his loving wife Sue Ellen Andrews Knowles and step children, Tabbi (John), Crystal and Eddie. 7 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
After serving in the Navy he moved to Tallahassee and began his career working at the Leon County School Board where he retired in 2017. Henry was a very proud and dedicated member of the AA community. He celebrated 33 years of sobriety and was an inspiration to many. He enjoyed motorcycling, camping, hiking but his true joy was fishing. Henry touched a lot of lives and will be sorely missed.
A gathering of family & friends for Henry will be held Wednesday, August 28, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM with a time of sharing to begin at 2:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Rd, Tallahassee, Florida 32308.
