James Alvin Bailey, age 64, of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away from cancer on October 29, 2021. Jim was born on November 12, 1956, and lived in Florida for most of his life. A proud liberal who worked to make a difference in local and national politics, he also enjoyed reading books, bowling, and watching sports (rooting most for the Florida State Seminoles, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Tampa Bay Rays). He is survived by his loving family, including his three children and six grandchildren.
A memorial service is being held on what would have been his 65th birthday, Friday, November 12th at 2:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Florida.
