James A Broome, 91, of Tallahassee died Friday (11/4) at St. Augustine Plantation. A native of Macon, GA he came to Tallahassee in 1985 from California. He was a veteran and retired as the general manager of the Army Air Force Exchange Service. Following his retirement he became a real estate agent and sold real estate. An outdoors person, James enjoyed working in his garden and feeding the birds in his yard.
He is survived by his daughter: Manuela (David) Stokes of Tallahassee; son: Horst Jimmy of Germany; grandson: Oliver Patrick and great-grandson: Jimmy Felix both also of Germany.
