Joseph Monte Collins (“Joe”), 63, a Regional Logistics Supervisor with Quest Diagnostics and resident of Tallahassee, passed away at the age of 63 at his home on Wednesday, January 12th, after a lengthy illness. He was a son of the late Robert and Anne Collins.
Joseph was a member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Tallahassee. He enjoyed riding his Harley and listening to Rock and Roll and Blues music. He graduated from Dixie Hollins High School in St. Petersburg, FL. in 1977.
Joseph was preceded in death by sisters: Elaine Collins and Margaret Davis.
He is survived by wife Lisa Chaires Collins of 30 years; his son, Joseph Blake Collins (Shannon); brother, Robert Collins (Eileen); and sisters: Deanne Silvestro (Nino), Marilynne Boysza (Larry), Noreen DeTore (Alan), Pamela Regan; grandchildren: Gabe, Ella and Charlotte, who will miss him dearly.
A visitation will be from 4-6PM on Tuesday, January 18th, at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
Masks required please.
A private funeral service will be held for the family.
