Julie E. Hilbrant

Julie Ellzey Hilbrant, 45, of Tallahassee, passed away Wednesday, March 6, at Tallahassee Memorial Hospital.

She was a medical billing specialist and worked for a number of medical facilities in the area. The daughter of Carlos Frank Ellzey and the late Mary Allen Ellzey, she is survived by her husband Paul Hilbrant; her daughters, Robin and Brittany Hilbrant; grandchildren, Elizabeth and Carter; her father and stepmother, Frank and Lyla Ellzey; sister, Heather Frost (Brad); brother, Richard Ellzey; sister, Nicole Piccini (Tony); brother, David Baldwin (Kristen); her mother- and father-in-law, Terry and Glen Adkison ; her uncle, George Allen; and her aunt, Deborah Handberg (Barry); her cousin, Jacob Handberg; and a host of friends who all mourn her passing.

A Memorial Service will be held Sunday, March 17 at 2:00 PM at Culley’s Funeral Home at 1737 Riggins Road in Tallahassee. We will further remember Julie with a reception following the service at Culley’s where friends and loved ones may join the family in celebrating her life by viewing some of Julie’s possessions and collections, which made her uniquely Julie, while we partake of some finger foods and drink. She was a collector of jewelry, shoes, fairies, suns, moons, and stars and was very fond of pretty stationery and her kitties. Purple was her favorite color and is evident in her clothing and collectibles. A CD of her favorite music will be playing as will be a DVD of pictures throughout her life, from her birth on August 8, 1967 to the present.
