June Turner Curry

She was born November 13, 1942 in Calhoun County GA, to Falcom and Odell Turner. She moved to Tallahassee, Fl in 1998. She graduated from Shellman High School in 1960 and married Bill Curry in December 1960. She is a member of New Light Freewill Baptist Church in Morgan, Georgia. She was a loving mother, grandmother and devoted wife to her husband Bill Curry for 50 years.

Our family is deeply appreciative of the compassion and care shown to June in her final months by Big Bend Hospice.

She is survived by William “Bill” Riley Curry, sons: Al Curry ( Jo Curry) and Dennis Curry (Suzy Curry) grandchildren: Kyle, Brett, Benjamin and Kendall, her mother Odell Turner sister, Bobby Gaston (Levin ) brother Roy Turner (Christine) and several aunts uncles and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father Falcom Turner.

Funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m. Thursday, September 9, 2010 at Culley’s MeadowWood Riggins Road Chapel, 1737 Riggins Rd. Family will receive friends from 6 – 8 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers the family requests memorial contributions be made to Big Bend Hospice, 1723 Mahan Center Boulevard, Tallahassee FL 32308.
