Lance Blaco passed away on February 6, 2026, in Tallahassee, Florida. He is survived by his brother, Clyde Blaco, his sister, Cheryl Hedding, and his brother, Mark Blaco. When Lance was born, Cheryl was a senior in high school and their mother kept his crib in her room. Cheryl was getting married after she graduated, and Lance was 14 months old and wasn’t walking yet, so he couldn’t be her ring bearer. When she returned from her honeymoon, Lance walked out to greet her. Timing is everything—just a little late to walk, and far too early to go. He loved fishing at St. George Island, FL with his brother Clyde on his boat..
