Larry Phillip Odom

He was the son of the late Morris and Audrey Odom. Larry was born in Donalsonville, Georgia on October 29, 1944. He served in the Air Force for four years. After, he did welding/construction work until he retired.

Larry loved spending time with his family, friends, and fur babies. His favorite pastimes were having cookouts with his loved ones, watching/feeding the squirrels and birds, and watching races, football, and westerns. Back in the day he would take his children and grandchildren to swim and fish. He taught them to live life to the fullest and as he got older, he taught them to be more cautious.

Larry was preceded in death by his father Morris Odom, mother Audrey (Thompson) Odom, brothers Tim Odom & James Odom, sister Kathy Odom, niece Beverly Madden, and fur babies Sissy & Zeke.

Larry is survived by his significant other Mary Williams, daughters Malissa Gonzalez(Jose Gonzalez), Lisa Swearengin(Chuck Swearengin), Candace Tatum, Kelly Brinson, brother Leon Odom(Margaret Odom), 9 nephews & nieces, 18 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, and fur babies Maxi & Whatisit, who will all miss him more than words can say.

The Odom family will receive friends on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 1-3pm at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home - 1737 Riggins Road Tallahassee, FL.

Funeral Services will be held with Military Honors at Tallahassee National Cemetery on Monday, February 15, 2021 at 12noon.
