A Tallahassee native, Lee graduated from the Florida State University College of Business before serving the Florida Department of Education for over 14 years. In that time, he also started his own business designing and crafting wooden toys. He was a member of Hilltop House of Prayer and sought the Lord in all things. He was good-natured, with a fun-loving heart that was dedicated to his children. They, in turn, filled him with the utmost happiness.
Lee enjoyed billiards, disc golf, woodworking, and anything outdoors. He was a true enthusiast - a man of varied passions and talents, skilled on all fronts and knowledgeable beyond his years.
He possessed a generous and adventurous spirit, and was always willing, welcoming and kind. Lee was a dutiful provider, extraordinarily selfless and accommodating toward others. He was a dear and dependable friend.
Lee was a giant of a man and he only got bigger the better you knew him. He had a heart and wholesomeness about him that was nothing short of inspirational. That’s why we looked up to him and that’s how we remember him.
He is survived by Victoria Louise Davis, his wife of 13 years, and three beautiful children, Abigail June Davis, Benjamin Lee Davis and Joel Robert Davis, as well as his parents Linda Gail Davis and Robert Teddy Lee Davis.
A closed-casket visitation service will be held from 5pm to 7pm on Thursday, 8/29 at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home (700 Timberlane Road, Tallahassee, Fl 32312).
