It is with a heavy heart but a beloved friend and sensei has been called home. Prayers and condolences to the entire Foley family.  Lee was truly compassionate and deeply committed to his beliefs and faith as well as sharing with others his martial arts knowledge and skills.

Grandpa Lee,
It was a blessing to have met you. It hurts to say goodbye to someone who may not have realized the impact he had on me, but it was greater than he could ever know. About 3 years ago, the first thing you said to me was “you have such long hair” we just laughed and that’s a moment I’ll never forget. I’m going to miss you deeply. You had a way of lighting up the room with your joy and humor, and I’ll hold those memories with me always.  

Thank you for being a part of my life. I love you and I'm going to miss you Grandpa.

I will always remember the jokes you made and the laughter it brought me. I will always cherish the memories we shared forever. You were more than a grandfather- you were a hero, a teacher, and a friend.

Dear Grandpa Lee,

Thank you for everything you’ve taught me, your laughter, your stories and the way you loved our family. You showed me what it means to work hard, to stay humble, and to care deeply for others. It hurts to say goodbye. Your spirit and the memories we shared will always live within me. I’ll carry your lessons you taught me, and I’ll do my best to make you proud every step of the way.

I can’t imagine the pain you’re feeling right now,  the man who helped shape who you are today. Please know that you’re not alone in this. I see your strength even in your sadness.
Grandpa’s legacy lives through you, in your kindness, your work ethic, and the way you care for all of us. I’m here for you, not just as your son, but as someone who loves and supports you through this loss. We’ll get through this together, I’m here for you, I miss you, and I love you.

Sensei Lee Foley was a wonderful special man to me and my family. I posted some photos and I hope they made it through to this page. I think pictures say 1000 words. Sensei always had a smile on his face. He was so positive and he also would tell you what he thought. That is what I liked about him. He was honest and didn’t sugar coat anything. He always told me to call him if I needed to talk. I did get the chance to take his class. I still have my gi to this day. I am so glad we kept in touch . He messaged me recently just to talk & I missed my chance . All I know is he was very special to me and many others when I did get a chance to talk to him over the phone. He talked about everything. I enjoyed our conversations and I will miss him very much. I love you, Lee until we meet again.

When I moved to Florida, I didn’t know that joining Sensei’s dojo would shape so much of who I became. He taught me discipline, focus, and humility — lessons that carried me through college and beyond. Sensei’s influence reached far beyond karate; he taught us how to live with honor and respect. I’ll always carry his teachings with me. Thanks for always being there for all your students/family. Till we meet again!

Sensei Angels, the last picture you sent me. Thank you for always sticking up for us and putting us in the boys division lol. We placed 1 through 3 against the boys. They were all scared of us 👊🏻
