Lisa Janel Hill, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister, and devoted friend to many, passed away peacefully on November 6, 2025, in Tallahassee, Florida, at the age of 51. Her life was a testament to strength, unwavering love, and compassion for others.
Born on July 28, 1974, in Columbus, Georgia, Lisa lived a life centered around family and service to others. She gave generously from the heart, even when she had little to give. Her love was deep and unconditional, always placing the needs of others—especially her children—above her own. She found joy in giving gifts, and her thoughtfulness made every gesture feel special and full of love. Lisa worked tirelessly throughout her life, ensuring her family felt cherished and supported. She also had a deep and abiding love for dogs, and her bond with them reflected her nurturing and gentle soul.
Lisa is survived by her loving husband of almost 30 years, Roderick L. Hill; her children, Amber N. Graham (Everett D. Graham) and Avery J. Hill; and her grandchildren, Grayson and Macie Graham. She is also survived by her parents, Ruby J. Stinnett and Donald W. Stinnett; her sister, J. Annette Duke (Lucas Duke); her nephews, Nathan and Gary Duke; her sister-in-law, Audrey Hill Tucker (Eric Tucker); and her brother-in-law, Frank "Dek" McGhee. She is remembered fondly by a host of extended family and dear friends who will carry her memory forward with love and gratitude.
In accordance with her wishes, a simple cremation will be held. The family will hold a service in Panama City Beach, Fl. on Saturday, November 29th, 2025.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made either directly to the family or in Lisa’s honor to the Foundation for Women’s Cancer, whose mission is to support and empower all affected by gynecologic cancers through education, research, and public awareness.
Lisa’s legacy lives on in the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely. Though her time with her grandchildren was far too short, they will grow up knowing her and the deep love she had for them. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
