Malcolm L Collins, 74, of Tallahassee died Wednesday (12/28) at Tallahassee Memorial Healthcare. A native of New York, New York, he came to Tallahassee from N. Miami where he had worked as an Optometrist. An out-going and loving person, Malcolm loved people and would randomly just call people he knew just to say hello. He also was one of those who marched with Martin Luther King, Jr on that famous march in Washington DC. He enjoyed traveling and traveled to many countries as well as throughout the United States. He enjoyed canoeing as well as para-sailing.
Survivors include his wife: Serina; son: Maxwell of Tallahassee; a brother: Alan and sister Susan Caploe both of New Jersey.
There will be a memorial service at a later date.
