Markie Marie Gerry

Markie is survived by her daughter, Cambree (9); her son, Hunter (5); her mother, Paula Sittig Gerry; her brother, Joseph Gerry; and her sister-in-law, Alex; as well as numerous other family members and friends. For over 5 years, she battled cancer so she could be with her family and continue to be the best mother she could be.

She was a loving, caring, and devoted mother, daughter, sister, teacher, and friend. Markie loved her children with everything she had. She loved spending quality time with her kids, especially at Disney World.

Markie shared her love for animals with her children. Together, they rescued a cat she found at work, and he became a major blessing for their family. She loved to spend time living her life to the fullest with her friends, laughing, singing their favorite songs, and dancing.

When she was younger, Markie enjoyed competitive cheerleading, gymnastics, and spending time with her loved ones at their family beach house at Cape San Blas.

A remembrance service and reception will be held on February 4th, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Good Shepherd Catholic Church (4665 Thomasville Road Tallahassee, FL 32309) with a Live Stream available at: https://www.goodshepherdparish.org/livestream.
