Meredith Noblin Forbes

Meredith was born in Tallahassee on December 19, 1971, to Tom Miller (deceased) and Nina Miller McCown. Meredith graduated from Leon High School in 1990 and graduated from Florida State School of Nursing in 1994. Then began her lifelong career in surgical nursing.

She is survived by her husband Mark Forbes, children Brewer, Blake, Ella Kate, Grady Noblin, and stepson Cole Forbes, her parents, Mack and Nina McCown, sister Myra (John) Miller Berens and her beloved dogs Duke and Frazier.

Her greatest love and joy were her children, and husband Mark. Meredith enjoyed a good workout and traveling the Caribbean with her husband.

Meredith was the steady anchor who could always be counted on to listen, encourage, and show unwavering love, sometimes with her witty sense of humor. Meredith’s presence made all feel cared for, whether you were her one of her children, nieces or nephews, friends or patients. Her career as a surgical nurse was a testament to her exceptional compassion.

Meredith leaves a void that can never be filled, but her spirit endures in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.

A private family celebration of Meredith’s life will be held at a later date. The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has offered love, support, and kindness during this time. Your thoughtful words and gestures have been a source of comfort and strength.
