Michael Vasil Alexander (“Mike”), long time resident of Tallahassee, Florida, died suddenly and peacefully on Wednesday, November 2, 2016. Mike was born in Key West, Florida, to father, Vasil Alexander, and mother, Frances Alexander, on November 14, 1943. Mike is survived by wife of fifty-one years, Kathleen (“Kathy”), three adult children, Mark, Julie and Jeff, and three grandchildren, Luke, Gwendolyn and Hannah. Mike was a loving husband, devoted father and proud grandfather. He will be profoundly missed.
Mike’s radiant personality was everyone’s first and lasting impression. He talked to anyone and everyone. Mike was happy with his friends on the golf course and, even with a nickname like Mike-three-putt, on good golf days, he was hard to beat. He was a great guy with a big heart.
A memorial mass will be held at Good Shepherd Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on Monday, November 7, 2016. Good Shepherd Catholic Church is located at 4665 Thomasville Road, Tallahassee, Florida, 32309.
