Mildred Allen Hawkins, 84, formerly of Tallahassee, passed away April 10th in Arlington, Virginia.
Mildred was born in Fitzgerald, Georgia, but spent most of her life in Tallahassee. She was a graduate of Leon High School, and worked at J.C. Penny for many years.
Mildred was preceded in death by her husband, Coy Elbert Hawkins Jr.; her sister, Evelyn Fetko; and brothers, Ira Allen and Warren Allen.
Survivors include: daughters, Sandra Oliveira and Pam Hawkins of Arlington, Virginia; son, Bert Hawkins of Earlysville, Virginia; five grandchildren, nephews; a niece; and extended family and friends.
A memorial service and reception will be held on Friday, June 14th at 10:00 a.m. At Culley's MeadowWood at 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee.
