Nancy was a close friend when she and Jeff lived in Williamsport, PA. She always had a smile on her face and would be the first one to help you with anything if asked. Whether you needed advise regarding gardening, baking, life in general or even with your garage sale; she was always there for you. Nancy was very social and was comfortable striking up a conversation with anyone. I especially remember that she seemed to be always laughing. She was a kind soul and a genuine person that will be missed by many.

My heart hurts for your family and I hope the memories shine bright for years to come.

Your mom was such a special part of my mom’s life for so many years, providing support and friendship after my dad died. Albeit via the phone but they would talk for hours on end. Nancy helped my mom overcome so much especially the computer…all knowing Nancy was the first call for anything fix-it!

The devastation my mom felt when your mom had the stroke to be met with my mom’s sudden passing shortly after. They never got to say goodbye and I have worried that your mom wondered why she never called. So I find peace and I hope you do too that they have found each other in a much better place and will continue to look after each other until we can all be reunited.

Much love,
Erin

Rest forever in Eternal Peace ‘Poops’. Through your grace, class, and love you made everyone and everything in life better like no one else. You have been, and forever will remain, The Rock of both your immediate and your extended family for a lifetime.
Through your generous heart and soul you taught us to think more clearly, laugh more loudly, and live more fully like there’s no tomorrow!! (I still have some of the squirt guns).
Personally, from the many one on one conversations we had together, I became a better husband, dad, and person.
It’s been said that the true measure of one’s life is what others think and say about you long after you’re gone. So Sister, from all your loved ones, thank you for allowing us to be so lucky to be able to fondly remember what you’ve done for each and every one of us for eternity.
Ps, heaven has no idea what they’re getting.
Peace and love Girl!

Wow what a loss my heart goes out to the family. There is so much I could say about Nancy she is my ex sister-in-law but she never made me feel like an ex. Nancy was a big part of my life she taught me how to have a love for cooking and I still have the first cookbook she ever gave me she was a good friend she never had a bad word to say about anybody! The world is not a better place without her. She will always be remembered and she will always be in my heart.

To the family of Nancy Copeland

It has been heart warming to know how you all took such good care of Nancy during her illness. Your dedication, love and caring went way beyond the "normal" and I appreciated all your communication that kept me posted on her progress.

I have always considered "Poops" my best friend. I met her in 1968 and we became fast friends immediately. Our conversations always lasted over an hour or two long distant no matter where she was living. We were interested in listening to each other without being judgmental. We laughed, cried, solved the world's problems, shared our own stories together and always validated each others feelings! This is true friendship that I will cherish and miss forever.

So goodbye my good friend.
Rest in peace and may God shine his bright light on you.

I will always love you and carry you in my heart forever,
Dorothy
