Patty was born on April 14, 1955, in Jersey City, NJ and transplanted to Rivera Beach, FL as a child. Patty was one of eight children, growing up in a home full of laughter and love with her siblings at the heart of her life. She moved to Tallahassee in 1997 and raised her sons here. With careers in customer service at First Commerce Credit Union, the Florida Department of Revenue and most recently, Alpha II, Patty was there when you called, and devoted to helping the lives of those she loved.
She loved travelling to visit her siblings every chance she had, exploring new cities, and learning the history of everywhere she went. Cruises, trips to Ireland, visiting North Carolina, Virginia, and her favorite: to see her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren in Las Vegas – Patty was always “on-the-go”. She couldn’t sit still – forever finding a project at her house to complete or coming over to yours to find one to do there. She was always reliable, always helpful, and always smiling.
Patty was an incredible mother to her two sons, but her most important job was being Grandma Patty (“GP”), to her three grandchildren, Eloise, Emma Clare and Murphy. They were her pride and joy, and she talked about them to anyone who would listen. She spent her free time on Facetime with Eloise and Murphy, reading books and playing games. She picked up Emma Clare weekly from her dance classes and spent their afternoons together at the park and library. Being Grandma was her most serious profession, and the one she made sure to execute flawlessly.
Preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Mary Crowley and siblings, Dennis Crowley, Theresa Howell and James Crowley. She is survived by her sons, Jon Ansola-Crowley, and his wife, Lindsey, of Tallahassee, and Gaizka Ansola-Crowley and his wife, Laura, of Las Vegas, NV; 3 grandchildren, Eloise, Emma Clare and Murphy Ansola-Crowley; siblings, Kevin (Mel) Crowley, Frank Crowley, Thomas (Deb) Crowley and Veronica (Steve) Radford; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
Family, friends and others whose lives Patty touched are invited to celebrate her life on Wednesday, March 16th at 11:00AM at Good Shepherd Catholic Church.
