Patty, as she was affectionately known, was born on June 26, 1948 in Gloversville, NY. After primary school, she completed her Nursing Education at St. Vincent’s College.
Patty, a caregiver all of her life, worked as a Registered Nurse for many years. She spent countless hours caring for newborns in the NICU. Her passion for caring for individuals eventually led her to the Jacksonville Blood Bank where she became the Director of Donor Services. After a move to Tallahassee, Patty retired from nursing but not from caregiving. She spent many years caring for her father-in-law until his passing. Patty was a woman of strong faith and a devout Catholic.
In her spare time, Patty enjoyed golfing, and traveling especially on cruises. She will be remembered as a great cook and a person who loved to entertain in her home. She often hosted friends who were far away from their families during the holidays.
Patty is survived by her husband of 46 years, Martin Greco; her brother Robert Dollman and her special friends, Phil and Marylou Larson, Bill and Sharon Campbell, Jeff and Charlie Hogan and Dan and Louise Collins.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Good Shepherd Catholic Church on Friday, January 19, 2018 at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to Saint Jude in memory of Patty.
