Paul Cole

Funeral services will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday, March 21, 2010 at Tallahassee Heights United Methodist Church. The family will receive friends Saturday, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Culley’s MeadowWood Funeral Home-Riggins Road Chapel.

A native of Beeson, West Virginia, he grew up in Johnson City, Tennessee. He lived in Tallahassee for nearly 50 years where he served as Agent-in-Charge for the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service until his retirement in 1974.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents Samuel Franklin Cole and Daisy Maude Lewis; his wife of 64 years, Wanda LaVerne Bennett and their daughter, LaVonna Lee Cole.

He is survived by his son, Terry Cole (and wife Linda); his granddaughters, Jenny Perkins (Russell) of Tallahassee and Donna Mehr (Ian) of Raleigh, N.C.; and great-grandchildren, Cole Perkins and Amelia Mehr.
