

Phillips Brooks Fulcher, age 71, passed away on Sunday, October 18, 2015He was born on December 12, 1943 to Mavis Wilde Fulcher and Ezekiel Doane Fulcher in Hyannis, MA. He lived in Woods Hole, MA until the age of eight. A member of a Coast Guard family, Phil grew up in many ports along the Great Lakes including Cleveland and Toledo in Ohio, Port Huron and Roseville in Michigan and his father's last duty station, Miami, Florida. Phil served in the U.S. Air Force from 1962 to 1966.He was a proud member of the charter class of the University of West Florida, graduating in 1969. He worked for the Florida Department of Revenue eventually taking a job and settling in Tallahassee. He retired from DOR in 2006. Phil was a Mayflower descendant of numerous lines, including lineage from the family of Mayflower passenger Thomas Rogers. Phil will always be remembered for his love of family, his delight at being a grandfather and his love of the game of baseball.Phil is survived by his wife of 42 years, Martha Lee Fulcher; his son and daughter-in-law Geoffrey and Lorena Fulcher; his grandson Luke Lawrance Fulcher; his twin brother and sister-in-law David and Terry Fulcher; and his nephew Michael Alan Fulcher.He was predeceased by his parents; his brother Alan Dupont Fulcher; and his niece Sherry Lynn Fulcher.Services will be held Saturday October 24th and will include a visitation at 1 p.m. followed by a memorial service at 2 p.m. These services will be held in Tallahassee at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home at 700 Timberlane Road (850) 893-4177.Those wishing to do so, may send memorial contributions to the Parkinson's Outreach Association, P.O.
