Reece was born in Tallahassee, FL, on January 12, 2002, to Mark Anthony Forbes and Stacie Guy Forbes. He had a love for sports and enjoyed soccer and baseball; but his true athletic passion was Lacrosse. He played for Chiles High School and formed an everlasting bond with his teammates, some of whom were known as the "Goon Squad". Their coach had a knack for nicknames and on the field Reece was known as "Buttercup". He was always quick witted and humorous, finding any opportunity to make people laugh. While at home, you could find him spending time with his friends and his girlfriend, playing x-box, watching Netflix, cheering on FSU, playing with his dog Yogi, and embracing his love for lavish foods like steak, lobster, and sushi.
Reece recently graduated from Chiles with honors, and was a member of the National Honor Society. He was looking forward to the beginning of an exciting college experience at TCC.
Reece is preceded in death by his grandparents, Ray and Linda Forbes, and his cousin, Jordan Mehr.
He is much loved and missed by his parents, Mark Anthony Forbes and Stacie Guy Forbes; brother, Cole Forbes; grandparents, Larry and Ann Guy, and Sylvia Forbes; aunts and uncles, Kim (Scott) Mehr, Shannon (Brent) Zapata, Troy (Gina) Forbes, and Diane Kelso (Denise); cousins, Cassidy Mehr, Rylee Mehr, Carli Zapata, Cayden Brewer, Hunter (Jenna) Forbes, and Taylor Forbes; and his precious dogs, Yogi and Frazier.
