

Robert Allison "Bob" White, Sr., native and lifetime resident of Tallahassee, died peacefully on Tuesday, February 22, 2011.
Funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday, February 25, 2011 at Celebration Baptist Church with interment in Roselawn Cemetery.
Bob was born on September 3, 1938, to James Allison White and Rebecca Willis White. He graduated from Leon High School and from Florida State University with a degree in Government and History. Bob spent most of his career as a stockbrocker, investment consultant and entrepreneur. In 1960, he married Sharon Stamey White, who preceded him in death in 2008.
Bob is survived by four children, Catherine White Armstrong (Brian); Robert Allison White, Jr. (Rebecca); Allison White Massam (Philip); and Christopher Clay White (Heather); five grandchildren, Rebecca Grace Armstrong, Isaac Colin Massam, Oliver Robert Massam, Daveena Glass, and Crystal Taft; one great grandson, Logan Romeka; and one brother, William Mike White (Ann).
Bob loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, developing land for hunting, and waterskiing. He was very family-oriented and took much pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren. His deepest passion was his relationship with Jesus Christ, which he expressed with great devotion in service to his church and his relationships with others in the church. He felt very close to his friends at Wildwood Presbyterian Church and Celebration Baptist Church.
Memorials may be made to the Welcome Center Fund at Celebration Baptist Church, 3300 E. Shamrock, Tallahassee, Florida 32309.
