He was born in Oak Park, Illinois. He lived in Tallahassee since 1971. He graduated from Oak Park River Forest High School in 1970 and graduated from Florida State University in 1974 with a Bachelor degree in Accounting. He worked as a production manager for H.B. Sherman Traps for 38 years. He enjoyed FSU Athletics, traveling and spending time with his family.
Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 29, 2010, from 6 to 8 p.m. EDT, at Culley's Meadow Wood Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Tallahassee (850-668-8409). Funeral Services and burial will be Wednesday, June 30, 2010, at 11 a.m. EDT, at Culley's Meadow Wood Funeral Home and Memorial Park.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Kathleen "Kathi" Schoff; his daughter, Paula Barrett (and husband Scott); his daughter, Rhonda Kerce (and husband Woody); and his grandchildren, Dylan Barrett, Tayler Barrett, Aidan Kerce, Hunter Kerce and Wren Kerce all of Tallahassee. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Frank and Florence Schoff.
Arrangements are under the direction of Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home in Tallahassee, FLorida.
