

Sharon Cook Smith passed away on February 14, 2025, at the age of 64. Sharon was full of life, passion, and love. She brought joy and warmth to every room she entered, lifting the spirits of those around her with her infectious smile and laughter. Sharon had a generous heart, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a kind word. She embraced life’s adventures with enthusiasm and loved deeply, leaving a lasting imprint on her family, friends, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, William “Skip” Smith; her parents, Emmett and Elaine Cook; her brother, Larry Cook; and her niece, Natalie Cook Littlefield.
Sharon is survived by her cherished family: her brother, Gary Cook, Sr.; her sister, Nanci Cook Watkins (Butch); her sisters-in-law, Phyllis Cook and Becky Liner; and her devoted companion, Roger Good. She also leaves behind her adored nieces and nephews: Gary Cook, Robert Cook, Blair Cook, Jennifer Langston, Janet Dinkelman, Matthew Watkins, Todd Watkins, Brittani Burger, and Will Liner, along with numerous great-nieces and great-nephews who brought her immense joy.
We will be forever grateful for her devoted, loving caregivers, Sharlene Yeomas, Erica Callejas, Latoya Jackson, Demetria Williams, and LaTonya Williams.
Sharon’s memory will live on through the many lives she touched with her kindness and love. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered.
A funeral service for Sharon will be held Wednesday, February 19, 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Culley's MeadowWood Funeral Home, 1737 Riggins Road, Tallahassee, Florida 32308, followed by a catered reception from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM. Mrs. Sharon will be laid to rest beside her Husband at Oakland Cemetery in a private ceremony.
