Shirley passed away on Saturday, February 2, 2013, in Tallahassee, Florida.
A retired Key punch operator Mrs. Bourne lived in Tallahassee since 1993. She was born on March 17, 1932 in Galena, Kansas. She was a Korean War veteran.
Survivors include three sons, Douglas W. Bourne of Florida, Paul A. Bourne of Georgia and Richard Edwards of Oregon; two daughters, Melody A. Bourne Meraz of California and Kathy Zavala of Florida. Grandchildren, Teiko, Tori, Douglas, Jason, Leslie, Christopher, Mona, Michael, Kyle; and 6 great grandchildren.
