Susan was the middle child of 3 girls born to Robert and Eleanor Evans in New Jersey.
Susan attended Florida State University, majoring in Dance. She then graduated from nursing school. Susan impacted many lives as a Registered Nurse for 30 years, with half of that time spent in the fast-paced and challenging Emergency Department. She lived in Tallahassee for the majority of her adult life, where she raised a family and forged many friendships. Susan had a love for travel and adventured all over the world, even climbing a mountain in Nepal. She was an incredible cook, loved ballet, and had a memorable talent for decorating and entertaining. She had a special bond with animals and found great joy in volunteering at the Tallahassee Museum and in the companionship of her pets. Susan will be greatly missed and forever remembered.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister Linda Evans.
She is survived by her son Nathan Kiel (Julia), sister Cathy Parker (Curtis), granddaughters Alexandra and Jane Kiel, nephews Nicholas and Robert Parker (Flor), grandniece Alexia Parker and grandnephew Noah Parker, stepdaughter Lily Kaye (Travis) and granddaughter Aliyah, and Ana Perdomo who she loved like a daughter. The family would like to thank Elizabeth George, her neighbor, for always being there.
