Teri Haupert

Teri Lynn Behenna-Haupert, 52, formerly of Tallahassee died August 27, 2013 at her home in Tampa, FL. Teri was born March 28th, 1961 in Miami, FL to Robert and Suzanne (Fugate) Behenna and moved to Tallahassee in the early 1980's. Teri was employed as a Collection Supervisor for the City of Tallahassee in its utilities department until 1997. Teri was united in marriage on May 23rd, 1998 in Tallahassee to Russell Haupert. She later lived in Lake Mary, FL and Peoria, IL, before relocating to Tampa with her husband Russell in 2012. Teri was an ardent University of Miami Hurricane fan and in general, followed sports closely. She was also a lover of animals, and enjoyed bird watching and especially doting over her three cats, Cortana, Zira and Ripley. She was preceded in death by her father, Robert. She is also survived by her mother, Suzanne Behenna of Tallahassee, her brother, Bill (Lecia) Behenna of Tallahassee and her beloved nephew, Drew Behenna, also of Tallahassee. There will be a gathering of friends and family on Monday from 5-7 pm at the Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, Riggins Road Chapel. Memorial services will take place 10 am Tuesday at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Tallahassee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent in Teri's memory to LifePath Hospice of Hillsborough County, Tampa, FL.
