Tom was truly a wonderful man, and all of us have our special memories of him.  He always had a smile on his face and a friendly hello to one and all.  You could just feel how much he loved being in Choestoe and spending his days here.  Linda & Tom were a great couple - truly complimented each other in their relationship, you could tell there was so much love between them.
 
Tom will certainly be missed by all of us, and our peace comes from knowing that someday we will meet up with him again....he's probably building us a room as we speak!

We did not know Mr. Lewis Sr. personally.  However, we know for sure he was a great man.  How do we know? We had the honor of working with his daughter, Rinna, for 20 years.  We saw first hand his work ethic, integrity and dependability in her.  Rinna always shared his adventures with us.

Linda, We are so sorry to hear about Tom.  We have loved yall from the day we first met in Choestoe.  Tom helped everyone without anyone having to ask. Yall are our dear friends and we will always remember him.  Love, Tim and Marsha Rainey (Fayetteville, Ga.)

My wife and I are one of Tom and Linda's neighbors at Choestoe Falls RV Park in north Georgia. To those who have known Tom over the years, we all can agree that there didn't seem to be any limit to his knowledge of facilities repair gained over his years at the college. 

What I gained most from Tom was seeing his helpful spirit in action assisting his fellow campers with those God given talents. He did his work not in a puffed up way, but always showed a spirit of grace in helping those of us who possessed far less talent to feel like we were an essential part of a project. 

Tom, you will be missed in many ways. The biggest loss for me will be missing the company of a good and faithful friend.

As i look back over time,  I find myself wondering,  Did i remember to thank you enough,  For all you have done for me?  For all the times you were by my side,  To help and support me...  To celebrate my successes...  To understand my problems and accept my defeats?  Or for teaching me by your example, the value of hard work, good judgement, courage and integrity?  I wonder if i ever thanked you for the sacrifices you made,  To let  me have the very best?  And for the simple things like laughter, smiles and times we shared.  If i have forgotten to show my gratitude enough for all the things you did, I'm thanking you now and i am hoping you knew all along how much you meant to me. I miss you Daddy!

Linda and Family, I cannot begin to tell you how sorry I am to hear about Tom, I certainly feel your pain. Will never forget the night the three of us spent the night at the hospital when Hannah was born.  Just know I love you and will be praying for you.

Tommy was a wonderful man to work with at TCC. God bless you all in your time of sorrow. May you find peace in the many memories you have of Tommy.
