Scotty was not only a Kidd, but a kid at heart; forever playful and lighthearted. He had a special connection with children and always found a way to make them feel special. If Scotty wasn't coaching on the baseball field, he was looking for somewhere to go fishing. Scotty loved being outside in God's Creation enjoying life. Scotty graduated from Florida High in 1986 and was a friend to all he met. Scotty was a member of the 1986 Florida State High School Baseball Championship Team, and won the Spark Plug Award his Senior year. He attended Southeastern University and lettered in baseball. Scotty was also an avid Florida State Football fan.
He is survived by the love of his life, Tonya Kidd, two step children, Amber and Zach Dillman, his parents Joby and Mary Kidd, Grandmother Dorothy "Dot" Kidd, brothers, Cotton (Laura) Kidd, Tony (Heather) Kidd and Casey (Heather) Kidd, nieces, Tanner, Brady, and Abigail, nephews, Tucker, Dawson and Jaret, many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends whom he loved dearly.
