Wanda Sue retired in 2019 with 34 years of service to the Department of Health, Radiation Control. Prior to that she was the owner/operator of Thomas Florist & Gift Shop in Woodville, Florida.
Her hobbies included traveling, fishing, and spending time with her family.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Trammell Rudd, her brother Luray "Ray" Rudd, and her husband Johnny E. Newberry. And about 783 breams. She is survived by her children, Tammy Burnsed, Terri Mercer, Cathy Smith, Bubba (Amy) Newberry, and Jennifer (Dub) Taylor. Nine grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many others that she claimed.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the ALS Foundation.
