William Anthony Pericelli was born October 19, 1946 in Queens, New York to Anna and Maurice Pericelli.
He graduated with a high school diploma from Cocoa High School in Rockledge, Florida. William earned an associates degree from Brevard Community College and then went on to earn his bachelor's degree in criminology from Florida State University.
William began his career in law enforcement, serving in the Police Department and later became a corrections officer in Tallahassee, Florida. He eventually changed paths and began to work for the state of Florida where he had a long career working with the Division of Disability Determinations. It is there where he met the love of his life, Terry and they married in 1985. They worked for the state of Florida until their retirement. William loved all things classical music. He had studied piano quite seriously for a while and always loved to sit down and play his piano, whether it be classical music or Neil Diamond. Later on William sang with the Tallahassee Community Choir and loved when they did collaborative concerts with the Tallahassee Symphony. More recently he had taken up an interest in learning to play the guitar. His other passion was photography, and for many years he ran his own photography and videographer business. He began his photography work while still working for the state of Florida, and he continued well into his retirement, photographing and filming weddings, dance recitals and sporting events. He loved all things patriotic and his Catholic Faith. He was an active member of St Thomas Moore Co- Cathedral,
William was preceded in death by his wife Terry, who passed on June 20, 2023. He is survived by his sisters Jean Ritter of Cedartown, Ga and Maura Swenson of Sarasota, Fl. He also leaves behind many Nephews and Nieces who always loved when “Uncle Bill” came to visit!
