

William A. Stallworth, 79 of Tallahassee, FL. passed away on Fri., Oct. 10, 2014. William was born on July 29, 1935 in Calvert, AL to parents Mae and Bill Stallworth (Dec.). He was a Computer Application Design Manager for the FL Dept. of Labor for 37 years. He proudly served in the US Army, where he was a Computer Data Processor. William was very involved as a member of Epiphany Lutheran Church. He loved God, family and his beloved grandchildren, and enjoyed reading and traveling. When he was younger he enjoyed sailing and skiing.
William is survived by his wife of 30 years, Marylin Hoffman Stallworth of Tallahassee, FL.; Sons, Michael (Christi) Alexander of Tallahassee and Steven (Sandra) Alexander of Raleigh, NC; Brothers, Barney J. (Joan) Stallworth of Quincy, FL., and Joe (Becky) Brown of Hosford, FL.; Sisters, Judy C. Stallworth of Tallahassee, FL. and Margaret S. Kellam of Melbourne, FL.; 3 Grandchildren, Brandon, Hayden, and Savannah Alexander; Nieces and Nephews, Deborah Gantt, Barbara Barnett, Kay Pahl, Michael Stallworth, Terry McCully, Randy Stallworth; and many Great Nieces and Nephews.
A Visitation will be held Tue., Oct. 14th from 6-8 PM at Culley’s Meadowwood Funeral Home, 700 Timberlane, Rd. Funeral Services will be held on Wed., Oct. 15th at 1:00 PM at Epiphany Lutheran Church, 8300 Deerlake Rd., Tallahassee, FL. 32312. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Big Bend Hospice and / or to Epiphany Lutheran Church in William’s memory.
