Dorothy Elizabeth Leamy Walker was a cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and great great grandmother who departed this life on January 24, 2026. She leaves behind a legacy of love and devotion to her family.
She leaves behind to cherish her memories, children: Loraine, Patricia, Michael, Paul, Marva, Karlene, Garfield, and Kevin; grandchildren: Jermaine, Ateba, Joemo, Joseph, Miguel, Nerece, Corey, Leroy, Tricia, Gayon, Tanisha, Shawne, Bejhorn, Nkomo, France Jr., Shada, Brian, Brandon, Cecila, Candace; great grand, great great grand, and many others too numerous to mention. Her family remains a testament to her enduring spirit and the love she shared with all.
She will be dearly missed by all of us. We pray that God will continue to strengthen the family of Dorothy and her soul rest in peace!
A visitation will be held on February 14, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at the Star of David Memorial Chapel, located in the Main Chapel at 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
The funeral service will follow at 11:00 am, also at the Star of David Memorial Chapel, Main Chapel, 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
The committal service is scheduled for 1:30 pm on February 14, 2026, at Bailey Memorial, Garden of Faith, 7801 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068.
Dorothy's final resting place will be in the Garden of Faith section at Bailey Memorial Gardens, 7801 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale.
