We also want to thank the extended families for their love and support: Dezeme, Hyppolite, Boss, and to the whole PHBC church where she was a member during her journey in America.

Our mom was a devoted Christian. She inspired us to serve God. Ephesian 4:32 was her credo in dealing with people. She was kind and compassionate always to everyone and forgave everyone as God has done it for us through Jesus Christ. She served everyone with no prejudice. She taught us all to be an asset to society instead of a liability. As an example, she came to America in the eighties and worked for $3-4 dollars and was very happy to do it. She would wake up 4 o’clock in the morning to be at work in Deerfield beach. Not being dependent to anyone was her gold. With that kind of lifestyle, I call on everyone to try to live the lifestyle that she once lived. The role model that she was for many if not for all. The determination to accept everyone without prejudice. The desire to be self-provided, the joy to know that she was an asset to everyone but not a liability to anyone.

As we mourned the departure of such an Icon, we want to do it in a form of a celebration of her accomplishments. We want to call on the vigilance of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to always be up to the task. We understand the difficult road that lays ahead of us, I encourage all of us to take humility as our combat field, understanding as our weapon, love, compassion as our shield and mutual acceptance as our goal. With this kind of determination, we will certainly continue with our mom legacy.

REST IN PEACE MOM!!!!!!!!
