I am so sorry to hear of the passing of  your mother.  She was a thoughtful and caring person who was passionate with all the lives that she touched. I was trying to find something appropiate to wear to your service, and then I remembered about the Tee Shirt you gave me at the Jimmy Buffett concert back in 2000. We all had such an amazing time that night. I'll never forget everyone singing along to Margaritaville in your suite back then was it was called the Ice Palace. I'll wear that tee on Tuesday under my jacket and know that you're always with me. A better person than you I could have ever known. I Love You Always My Dear Kay O. Rest in Peace OXOX Leslie

This site does not have enough room for me to relate all the fond memories I have of Kay. Suffice it to say that she was always her own person, did things her own way, and did it with laughter and a joy for life. My life is better for having known her.

My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone who had the honor of Miss Kay's company and friendship. 
Myself, I had the honor of being part of the family on numerous occasions.  I can truly say I have never met a person with such compassion and integrity. 
Cherie, Donnie, Doug, Connie and Hollie - May you find comfort in knowing that  Your Mother/Grandmother began a new journey doing what she enjoyed so mich. She will forever hold a special place in my heart.

Cliff and I were very sadden to hear of Kay's passing. Our hearts go out to Doug, Sherrie , Donnie and whole family. Your Mom was very unique and we were blessed to have spent time with her and to know you. We will remember her laugh which she enjoyed and which came real and solid from  the bottom of her soul. I'm so sorry to hear of Kay O'Rourke's passing.  I worked at the Citrus Park/Keystone Library when her mom and dad donated the money for the beautiful Austin Davis Library. I was lucky to have also worked there.  Kay was very involved in the library and we appreciated her energy. Her family can be proud of all the good she did.

Kay was a lovely and unique spirit; a  generous, warm and witty friend. We will miss her.  Thoughts and prayers to Doug and his family.

No bond is greator than that between a mother and her children. May you have comfort in knowing that she is your special guardian angel now and will watch over and guide you always, just as she did in life. She will be greatly missed by everyone who knew her.
