Andrea DeGennaro Anderson

Andrea Anderson, 67, passed away on July 1, 2018. She is survived by her three children, Dwayne Anderson, of Tampa, Danielle Capella Diaz, of Tampa, and Nicholas Anderson (Jen), of Tampa; 5 grandchildren, Jadyn Anderson, Anthony Anderson, Vinny, Joey and Gabrielle Diaz; her 91 year old mother, Rose Barone; two brothers, Vinny and Patty DeGennaro; nieces and nephews; and extended family.

Andrea was born on December 30, 1950 in Brooklyn, New York to parents, John DeGennaro and Rose. In 1979, she moved to Florida and raised her family, making many treasured friends through the years. Andrea "Ga" was an amazing, strong woman and a loving mother and grandmother. Andrea loved the beach and her dog, Luna. She suffered from PKD and hoped one day there would be a cure. She was an advocate of organ donation and herself received the gift of life with a kidney 20 years ago. Her friends and family will always remember her as a strong and loving person.

A celebration of life and funeral mass is scheduled for Friday, July 6, 2018 at 10AM at St. Paul Catholic Church, 12708 N Dale Mabry Hwy, Tampa, Florida 33618. Visitors will be received from 11AM-12PM in the family center. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Andrea's life.
