Angelina Spoto Hauer, age 99, passed away on September 12, 2024. A lifelong resident of Tampa, she was born November 13, 1924 and graduated from Hillsborough High School and Loyola University in New Orleans. Angie taught at Wilson and Coleman Junior High Schools until her retirement.
Angie was predeceased by her parents, Dr. John and Mary Spoto and her brother Dr. Anthony J. Spoto. She is survived by her sister, Rosemary Priede (Tino), three children, Mary Frances Cagno (Jim Wicker), Eddy Hauer III (Susan), and Adele Geyer (William), five grandchildren, Anthony Cagno (Kristie), Anna Browning (Alvin), Lauren Stidham (Darryl), Lesley Meunier (Brett), and James Geyer, and five great grandchildren, Milly Angelina and Adele Meunier, Arden and Adelyn Browning, and James Cagno.
A memorial mass for the repose of her soul was held on October 1, 2024, at Christ the King Catholic Church with entombment at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park.
Though she may no longer be among us, the impact she made on our lives will forever remain. May she rest in eternal peace.
