Annette Patricia Nurse Morgan, a beloved mother, devoted Christian, sister, and cherished friend, passed away peacefully on November 20, 2025, at the age of 81. Her life was defined by unconditional love, a deep love for God, a truly giving heart, and the profound wisdom she shared with everyone she knew.
Born on June 7, 1944, in San Fernando, Trinidad and Tobago, Annette was a vibrant soul from the start. She attended San Fernando Girls Anglican School (formerly Brown School). Early in her career, she worked for the San Fernando City Council, and later brought her professional dedication to the United States, serving for many years with the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) at Tampa International Airport. Following her retirement from government service, she continued to connect with people, working with Cinnabon at the same airport.
Annette had an infectious love for life and tremendous pride in her heritage. She was a passionate supporter of West Indies cricket, participated actively in community group services, and never ceased supporting her country. Her favorite times of the year were the vibrant celebrations of Carnival and Christmas. She was known for her zest for shopping and partying, but most of all, she was treasured as one of the best advisors you could ever ask for. Her counsel was always honest, insightful, and rooted in a deep love for her family.
Annette’s greatest legacy is her five devoted children, who will forever cherish the laughter, strength, and endless support she provided: Miguel Maxime, Leslie Ann Nurse, Learie Nurse, Sherwin Nurse, and Christine Nurse.
She was a proud and loving grandmother to Asia, Shyan, Twariq, Shantel, Leron, Zaian, Zaishel, Zada, Sherliece, and Emmanuel, and a doting great-grandmother to Avni and Sarai. She is also lovingly remembered by her large family, including three brothers and six sisters.
She is preceded in death by her loving mother, Ivy Griffith; her father, Sonny Sealy; and her grandmother, Agnes Sealy.
Annette Patricia Nurse Morgan’s absence will be deeply felt by all who knew her, but the brilliance of her spirit and the enduring love she gave will continue to live on in the hearts of her family and friends.
Services will be posted once finalized.
